ABSTRACT

Objective To determine the concentration of blood serum visfatin and some iron metabolism‐related indicators:Ser‐um ferritin、hepcidin、serum transferring receptor(sTfR)level in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients and explore the inter‐rela‐tionship between blood serum visfatin and iron metabolism .Methods Eighty‐five patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected and divided into 2 groups including 43 patients with normal weight (the normal weight of diabetic group , group B)and 42 obese patients (the obese diabetic group ,group D) .Meanwhile ,86 healthy examinees were selected and divided into 2 groups including 43 cases with normal weight (the control group ,group A)and 43 cases with obese (simple obesity group ,group C) .Serum visfatin ,ferritin ,hepcidin ,serum transferring receptor level and other clinical parameters of all groups were determined . Results Blood serum visfatin concentration was not found to be associated with ferritin ,hepcidin ,serum transferring receptor in all the groups(r=0 .111 ,P>0 .05) .Conclusion Blood serum visfatin may be not associated with ferritin ,hepcidin ,serum transferring receptor in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients .

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the behavioral and psychological symptoms of serfi[e dementia pa-tents and nursing intervention. Methods 56 senile dementia patients were investigated and analyzed about their behavioral and psychological symptoms, nursing interventions were given to them accord-ingly. Results The incidence rate of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) was 94.64%. Diet and psychological care was given according to its behavioral and psychological symptoms, and symptomatic nursing was strengthened and measures were taken to prevent and treat somatic disease. sions Strengthening the nursing quality of senile dementia patients has important significance in improving their quality of life, and reducing the burden of caregivers.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study proloning the surviving time limit of servered skeletal muscle through intermittent ischemia Methods We use canine gracilis as experimental object to observe its changes by"4C" (colour, capillary bleeding, contractility and consistency of muscle),succinic, dehydrogenase and electron microscope Result (1) At normal temperature the ischemic time limit of skeletal muscle was 7 hours (2) At low temperature (4℃),the surviving time limit of skeletal muscle was 15 hours.(3) However, intermittent ischemia, the surviving time limit of skeletal muscle was 25 hours. Conclusion Intermittent ischemia can prolong the surviving time limit of skeletal muscle obviously So, intermittent ischemia may be used as a new better method of servered limb perservation
